Pearl Inspire App is a range of products developed by Ed-admin Pty Ltd to make a positive impact in the global community building process. By accessing or using the services of the Pearl Inspire App mobile application(s), available via the Apple App Store and the Android Marketplace (collectively, the “Mobile Application”), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information about our users is an integral part of our business. We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information, though we may share your Personal Information in a personally identifiable form for providing user services. Pearl Inspire App endeavors to keep your information private; however, we cannot guarantee security. Unauthorised entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors that may compromise the security of user information.
Pearl Inspire App collects any information you knowingly enter into it. This information may include, without limitation, Personal Information such as your name, user name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and any other information necessary for us to provide our services. The information we gather from users enables us to personalise and improve our services and allows users to set up a user account and profile through the services. The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain information and services, customising your experience, and communicating with you about the services.
We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Products, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with other users.
We collect information about how you use our Products, such as the types of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we log when you're using and have last used our Products, and what posts, videos and other content you have viewed on our Products.
We also receive and analyse content, communications and information that other people provide when they use our Products. This can include information about you, such as when others share or comment on your post, send you a message, or upload, sync or import your contact information.
When you interact with the Platform, Pearl Inspire App automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and the page(s) you requested. We also record the details of your activity on the Platform and the number and frequency of visitors to our site and its components.
When you download the mobile app for the Platform , we automatically collect information on the device type, the operating system version, the app version, user category, the numerical mobile device user ID, as well as actions performed by you.
We also use third-party mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile App on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the Mobile App, the events that occur within the Mobile App, aggregated usage information, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer or mobile device to enable systems to recognise a computer or device and specify how and when pages in a site are visited and by how many people. Pearl Inspire App cookies may collect general information, collected through these cookies with other Personal Information for various purposes, such as to allow for single-sign-on and to count the number of visitors to a Pearl Inspire App page. Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways.
The Platform may also contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs), which are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyse how the Platform is used. Gifs are not Personal Information and are sourced from a third party(s), but we evaluate them periodically to ensure they meet our Trust & Safety requirements.
We will send push notifications to your mobile device in order to make you aware of certain activities that may occur within your account, such as when someone has entered a new post, receiving inspirational quotes through our Inspire Me module or when you have new notifications. You may opt-out of receiving these types of communications by turning them off at the device level or emailing us at info@pearlinspire.com.
Our Services are dynamic, and we often introduce new features, which may require the collection of new information. If we collect materially different personal data or materially change how we collect, use or share your data, we will notify you and may also modify this Privacy Policy.
We also use the Personal Information you provide to respond to your requests for certain information and Platform, customising your experience, and communicating with you about the Platform.
Use of our Platform may require your email address or phone number in order for us to send you your verification code. Users are at liberty to choose the form/manner or method in which they want to receive their verification code. The use of your email address or phone number shall be only limited to the purpose reiterated above.
Pearl Inspire App uses aggregate data to figure out how often users use parts of the Platform, so that we can ensure the Platform is appealing and relevant to as many users as possible. As part of our use of information, we may provide aggregate, anonymised information to our partners about how our users use our site.
We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide Products or Platform to you. Examples include sending emails, analysing data, processing payments, or other services needed to support our Platform and Products. We share Personal Information with such agents on a need-to-know basis and hold them to contractual obligations to protect such information.
If Pearl Inspire App or some or all of its assets were acquired or otherwise transferred, goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information may be transferred to or acquired by a third party. Any such third party will be subject to the same commitments for previously collected Personal Information under this Privacy Policy. Your Pearl Inspire App account Personal Information is protected by a one-time-pin (OTP) for your privacy and security, as well as by numerous other technical, administrative, and physical security mechanisms. We also use coding practices that take steps to prevent attacks on our Platform from web browsers and malicious scripts by processing all actions through several permission verification checks.
You may help protect against unauthorised access to your account and Personal Information by limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.
